These are some old poems of mine. In total there are three poems that tell a story. The first one is The Blueprint and it's in Norwegian, originally called Fasiten.
Kjæreste løve
Det finnes ingen fasit
Kom ned fra månen og avvis meg
Jeg ville klappe løven
Men løven brølte
Nå er løven på månen
Fineste løve
Jeg får ikke klappe deg
Du kan leke med garnnøstet
Det finnes ingen fasit
Kjæreste løve
Kom ned fra månen
Det er varmere her
Kom ned fra månen og mal
It doesn't translate that well, but here's a version of it in English for those of you who don't understand Norwegian.
Dearest lion
There is no blueprint
Come down from the moon and reject me
I wanted to pet the lion
But the lion roared
Now the lion is on the moon
Kindest lion
I´m not allowed to pet you
You can play with the ball of yarn
There is no blueprint
Dearest lion
Come down from the moon
It's warmer here
Come down from the moon and purr
The second one is called There is no blueprint.
The lion came
Down from the moon
When I called his name
He roared
I wanted to pet the lion
The lion remained silent
Heavy emotion appeared beneath his gaze
Still, at my touch
He purred
Next thing I know I´m on a boat
A boat which is weather-beaten
By many past storms
I can lead the boat to the shore
Because I can see the shore on the horizon
On that shore
We can play, if you like
With a ball of yarn
You know that I want you to
When there is no blueprint
I want to pet the lion
Keep him forevermore safe from the moon
I want to pet the lion
Show him the shore
The Conclusion.
Rays of sunlight
Breaking on the surface of the ocean
Are diamonds
The wildflowers
Spreading like wild fire
Dancing through the air, even here
Replace the snow
You led me to the shore
I'm happy
Knowing you alone
Is a palace
Come down from the moon.
I wanted to pet the lion
The lion roared
I wanted to pet the lion
The lion purred
I wanted to pet the lion
Keep him forevermore safe from the moon
The lion bit me
Now the lion is on the moon
Forevermore
I don't want to pet the lion
The lion bit me
He told me he would
I want to keep him forevermore safe from the moon
But the lion bit me
Now the lion is on the moon
Forevermore
Come down from the moon
Not for my sake, but for your
Love,
Nina
