Being a healthy and well functioning person isn't just about eating right, about doing your chores or about performing well at work or at school. It's also about balance and maybe this will seem like a bit of a joke, but it's not a joke. Alcohol isn't healthy for you, but feeling constantly stressed out is also bad for you. I'm actually not a big fan of alcohol when it comes down to it, but having one glass or two of your favourite wine at the end of a long week can in fact be considered positive for your mental health, but it doesn't have to be alcohol. The point is that it's important to let go every once in a while. To be around good people who make you feel like it's easy to just be yourself. Sex is also healthy for you, or you could go shopping, if that's your thing. Watch a scary movie with some candy in good company or anything else that you might like!

Life isn't about being perfect! Life is about seizing the moments and doing whatever feels right to you as long as you're not hurting anyone else. I won't judge how others lead their lives, but if I'm going to be a rolemodel my advice is that no matter what kind of a relationship you have with partying, alcohol or drugs. Always say no to hard drugs at any rate, there are some things in life that aren't worth trying even once. On the whole, just try to be responsible and find the right balance in life between rewarding hard work and leisure. Treat drugs, including alcohol, with reverence, or in other words don't ever let yourself become too intoxicated.

I want to add now that girls in particular should be on their guard and that this includes being on your guard towards handsome guys who might seem really nice. There are psychopaths and more out there and it might seem like something that happens to others and that won't happen to you, but they're real and they can be difficult to spot. So look after yourself. If you're going out, try to make sure you're with some friends that you're absolutely certain you can trust and if someone you're dating seems too good to be true, that might actually be the case.
